I was informed by my music coordinator at the church that i can't use the wedding march in my ceremony because it is used too often in protestant weddings? I find that weird, but i found something else to "march" to!
So yesterday I felt like I got a lot of stuff done! I picked out a couple dresses for my shower and rehearsal dinner, they are so cute and I got a great deal! Younkers is having an awesome sale on all their dresses if anyone is looking for something to wear to events this summer!
Today has been a great day so far, I woke up at 5:15 and headed to my boot camp. I work out with Forged Fit camp 4 days a week in Omaha and it is wonderful! I like to describe it as P90x on crack because it is so intense! The guys that teach the class are awesome and extremely motivating and make it easy to be there early in the morning! After working out I head over to Gold’s Gym and I tan.. it is so glorious because it allows me a little cat nap before having to shower and get ready for work. I have a nice morning routine that is only possible because I have THE BEST fiancé ever that allows me to go do this in the morning while he plays mister mom. Every morning that I am gone he gets Lucy up, gets her ready for the day, feeds her breakfast, takes care of the dogs, and then while he on his way to drop Lucy off at school they usually give me a call and tell me they love me and to have a good day I am truly lucky with how great of a guy I have because he doesn’t even mind doing those things at all and he has even attempted a few pony tails at Lucy’s request..soo cute!

I am in high spirits today because after reading my blog from yesterday I realized that I was kind of whining.. not a good way to start a blog.. I did a little self-reflecting and honestly, I have it pretty darn good!
I am so excited for my bridal shower this weekend because I feel like it will mark the beginning of the truly fun wedding stuff! I get to see people that I haven’t seen in a while and I’ll hopefully get to hold my new little nephew again because that little squirt is getting cuter and cuter every day that passes and it’s killing me that I haven’t seen him for a couple weeks!! So the shower should be wonderful, my sisters are the best for putting it on for me and I know most of it has fallen on Angee because Aimee has a new baby and Alyssa has finals, but they are all helping out and I really love having such awesome sisters!
So 33 days to go.. today is one of those days that makes me feel like that number is too big and that day is too far away..

Good job Lexi. One thing at a time.
ReplyDeleteAnd Cary is one of those GREAT guys who is willing to take on the WHOLE package.
