***WEDDINGITIS*** Day 20 of the COUNTDOWN TO MRS. COCHRAN

***I have a horrible case of WEDDINGITIS!! it comes from the same type of illness as the more commonly diagnosed SENIORITIS, but the procrastination is just as serious..***

Time sure is flying and it is bad because I am getting to the point where I don't feel like doing anything wedding and then when the last week is here I am going to be a mess trying to get stuff done! Maybe actually admitting that to myself will get me motivated to work on some things.. I guess we'll see.

This past weekend(while not very productive wedding wise), was VERY productive cake pop wise.. I made a ton of adorable little tasty cake pops that took forever! I am so proud though because I am not much of a baker or decorator, but I think they turned out well and I am excited to take on a second attempt in the near future!

Starting the CAKE POPS!!

mixing!

Preparing the cake balls + sticks!

First Round of Kitties Pops!

2nd Round of Pink Kittie Pops and Sparkly Pops!
Why Cats? I figured out how to make ears so that was the only animal that made sense.. after brainstorming and some mis-shaped cats I decided my next animal will be an owl!

Aside from making cake pops, Cary and I had a nice, low key weekend.  On Friday night we went on a little date that consisted of eating at Hy-Vee and then we went to Sam's Club and bought in bulk! it was fun and I wont need yogurt or toilet paper for a few months! After Sam's club, we watched a little TV and then headed to bed early because we both had to work Saturday morning. Saturday we worked and then went shopping! I found a bikini for our honeymoon (thank you future Aunt Carolyn for the gift card!) and some black golf shoes! It was a productive shopping trip because I need new irons and so Cary had me try out a few different types so he would know what to order for me(the new irons were shipped out this morning so I should have them later this week!). Golfing is definitely Cary’s favorite hobby and I will admit that I like it a lot too.. Anyone who is reading this that is a golfer or has a husband that is a golfer probably knows it is rare for a husband and wife to golf together because it can be so frustrating! I am wondering if that will change with Cary and I when we are married, but so far we love to golf together! Some of our best couple memories have been while playing! I think the key to our golfing together success is that neither of us take ourselves too serious and just have fun. We are competitive so sometimes we get frustrated if we have a bad shot, but usually we can get the other person too laugh or at least smile if we get down about something as silly as a golf shot! Back to the weekend! So Saturday after shopping I went for a run and Cary biked with me and then we just hung out and he watched sports while I made cake pops! Sunday was another low key day and we ended up running to Nebraska Furniture Mart to look at a couple things and then I bought a new Wii game! Soooo fun! Just Dance 2! I tell you what, I played it yesterday afternoon and I was a sweaty hip hopping mess! It is hard, but ridiculously fun and even Cary played a little! (HE’S GOT MOVES)  I think we’ll bust out some of our newly learned moves at the wedding! I guess that is what we did wedding related this weekend, we practiced dancing!

I think the very best thing about being with Cary is how much fun we have together. This last weekend we didn’t do anything really, but we had a blast!  I didn’t think I could meet my match when it comes to being goofy and silly, but Cary is the biggest goofball around and I love it!
